Phone Trackpad Privacy Policy
Phone Trackpad is made by CyberElysium. We designed both the iPhone and iPad controller and the Mac companion to work without accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking, or developer-operated servers.
Local device communication
The apps use Apple MultipeerConnectivity to discover and connect user-owned devices over a local peer-to-peer network. Device names, trackpad gestures, keystrokes, pairing messages, and control commands are transmitted directly to the selected Mac only to perform the request in real time. CyberElysium cannot access this traffic, and the apps do not retain transmitted input content. MultipeerConnectivity requires encrypted sessions.
Information stored on your devices
Pairing identifiers and random trust tokens are stored in Apple Keychain. Preferences and remembered-device details are stored in each app's local container. This information remains until you forget a device, reset the app, or remove the app. It is not uploaded to CyberElysium.
Permissions
- Local Network: used to discover and communicate with the device you select.
- Mac input control: used by the companion to post pointer and keyboard events after an authenticated connection.
You can revoke these permissions at any time in iOS, iPadOS, or macOS Settings. The related feature will stop working until permission is restored.
Third parties and children
The apps contain no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs and do not share data with data brokers. Phone Trackpad is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes and contact
